The PFF Women’s League kicked off last Saturday 25 August 2018 at the PFF National Training Center inside the San Lazaro Leisure and Business Park in Carmona, Cavite.
Last year’s PFF Women’s League champions De La Salle University Women’s Football Team edged newcomers Tuloy FC, 1-0, in the first game. National team player and La Salle freshman Alisha del Campo scored the only goal of the match in the 15th minute.
In the second game, OutKast FC put on an impressive scoring run, netting 10 goals in a 10-2 win over De La Salle Zobel Women’s Football Team. Sharmaine Siaotong fired four goals. Lindsay Whaley, Jennizel Cabalan, Alesa Dolino, Loreta Ladero, and Kimberly Cupal added gloss on the scoreline.
De La Salle Zobel made a good showing in their first game despite the result. Malina Hill and Marinelle Cristobal scored on either side of the half.
The PFF Women’s League continues Sunday 26 August 2018 at the PFF National Training Center. The University of Santo Tomas Women’s Football Team face Green Archers United at 8:00 AM followed by the match between Far Eastern University and University of the Philippines at 10:30 AM. Both matches will be shown live on the PFF live-streaming platform at pff.org.ph/pff-tv.
