The PFF U19 Boys National Championship Division 1 matches have begun last May 21, 2024 with two groups. Group A fixtures are slated at the Panaad Park and Stadium in Bacolod, Negros Occidental with National Capital Region Football Association, Cordillera Regional Football Association, Southern Luzon Masbate RFA, and Negros Occidental RFA as the competing teams.
Group B, meanwhile, with Central Visayas FA, Camiguin RFA, Panay FA, and Zamboanga Del Norte-Dipolog FA vying for the top spot in their group, is holding games at the Dynamic Herb – Borromeo Sports Complex in Talisay, Cebu.
MAY 21 GROUP A RESULTS
National Capital Region FA(NCR FA) rained on Cordillera RFA (C RFA), 12-1 with one goal each from Czam Acuesta, Jeorby Anito, Kent Airrol Pelarca and Jim Leowell Fabela; Jacob Kelegan made a hat trick via goals in the 41st, 44th and 4 th minute, as Arvin Alayon achieved a haul via goals in the 56th, 77th, 86th and 90+1 minute. Iann Silva scored the lone goal for C RFA.
Southern Luzon Masbate RFA (SELMARFA) lost to Negros Occidental RFA (NORFA), 1-7. SELMARFA’s Shan Michael Lorque’s single goal was no match for the one goal each made by NORFA’s Franz Noel Hervias, Anthony Joseph Galve, Elija Zedric Ballesteros, John Lloyd Liguaton, Erros Guitche, and Ryan Dax Bandojo.
MAY 21 GROUP B RESULTS
Central Visayas FA (CVFA) outclassed Camiguin-Misamis Oriental RFA (CMORFA), 5-1 thanks to CVFA’s Charles Cliff Ventura, Merick Baloria, Joseph Kyne Garces, Czar Robert Daanoy and Justice Louie Soco who all found the back of the net. CMORFA’s Julius Marf Galeon earned a point for his team at the 86th minute.
Panay FA’s Ryan Paolo Cudal and Riancarl Catalan scored one goal each in the first half of their match versus Zamboanga Del Norte-Dipolog FA (ZANDIFA). The latter tried to catch up in the second half but only Loi Augustine Mabilog managed a goal, which was made in the 90th minute. Fulltime: 2-1 in favor of ZANDIFA.
MAY 23 MATCH SCHEDULE
May 23, the second match day will have Group A’s C RFA battling SELMARFA at 5 pm and NORFA going against NCR FA at 7: pm; for Group B, CMORFA goes head to head with Panay FA at 3 pm, as CVFA tries for a second win in their game versus ZANDIFA at 7 pm.
