Negros Occidental Regional Football Association (NORFA) will face Central Visayas Football Association (CVFA) at the Dynamic Herb – Borromeo Sports Complex in Talisay City, Cebu, on June 10, 2024, Monday, for Philippine Football Federation (PFF) U19 National Championship Division 1 final match.
SEMIFINAL MATCH: PFA vs NORFA
Panay Football Association’s (PFA) Rlancarl Catalan scored the first goal versus NORFA in the 19th minute. NORFA’s equalizer came at the 37th minute, courtesy of Elijah Cedric Ballesteros. At the second half, NORFA was unstoppable in the last few minutes as Ismael Parochel and Eduardo Artaba scored goals in the 84th and 90th minute, respectively. NORFA’s Franz Noel Hervias scored in the 90+3rd minute to widen the lead and win the game, 4-1.
SEMIFINAL MATCH: CVFA vs NCRFA
The semifinal game between CVFA and the National Capital Region Football Association (NCRFA) was a close fight. Joross Clark Tabar of CVFA broke through NCRFA’s defense as he made a goal in the 10th minute. John Lloyd Amita of NCRFA then retaliated with a goal in the 53rd minute.
Invigorated by the home crowd, CVFA team captain Carsten Pumareja scored in the 79th minute. NCRFA was not able to catch up. Full time: 2-1 in favor of CVFA.
JUNE 10, 2024 SCHEDULE
PFA and NCRFA will battle for the third place on June 10, 2024, at 4 pm, while championship game between CVFA and NORFA will be at 7 pm.
