Event Logistics Coordinator

Overview:

The Event Logistics Coordinator is responsible to support the delivery of all event logistics operations for FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup 2025

Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain and understand event requirements
  • Analyse requirements
  • Support the Head of Event Logistics in the identification, production and management of;
    • Key Milestones / Project Plans and Risks & Issues
    • ConOps
    • Budget
    • Policies and procedures
    • Resource planning
    • Procurement and project management
    • Learnings document
  • Operational delivery of tournaments and events
  • Lead on all of the above, substitute and deputise for the Head of Event Logistics

Team Wear

  • Be the main interface and client responsible for individuals requiring Team Wear
  • Ensure there is a plan for capturing demand and delivery of Team Wear
  • Work and manage external suppliers
  • Develop and improve the process

FIFA Corporate Gifts

  • Capture the requirements for Cooperate gifts
  • Interface and manage supplier
  • Ensure Gifts are distributed according to the predefined rules

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum experience of 3-5 years in the delivery of large scale sporting events, preferably across continents or regions
  • University degree in appropriate subject (or adequate training/vocational education)
  • Experience in international sports / event management
  • Knowledge of even planning and event project management processes
  • Experience or knowledge of local culture will be an added benefit
  • Strong IT skill including MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)
  • Fluency in English and other languages are an added benefit
  • Team Player, willing to work to tight timelines
  • Positive attitude, patience and persistence.
