Government Relations Manager

Overview:

The Department Assistant is responsible to administratively support the CEO in all aspects of their work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver administrative assistant in the Government Relations section
  • Follow-up with various ministries and government entities in relation to securing Work Visas, Work Permits, Business visas and Exit Permits
  • Issue Exit Permits to eligible employees
  • Handle all typing and correspondence such as Work Visas & Permits, Passports and ID cards and obtain appropriate signatures
  • Assist FFWWC 2025 LOC employee get acquainted with laws such as Work Visas, Passport & ID renewals
  • Support the process of medical testing and finger print registering of new oversee employees and their dependants
  • Maintain documentation, classify and file storage for future reference
  • Coordinate with the team members for embassies locations, maps etc.
  • Carry out other duties such as making photocopies, scanning, filing and operating a fax machine
  • Provide information and assistance to team members and employees
  • Contribute and represent in various meetings relevant to government relations services
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor directly related or relevant to the job

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum experience of 5-8 years experience in an administrative role, preferably in immigration services in governmental organization
  • Bilingual, strong communication and reading skills in Arabic and English
  • University degree in appropriate subject (or adequate training/vocational education)
  • Experience in international sports / event management
  • Knowledge of even planning and event project management processes
  • Experience or knowledge of local culture will be an added benefit
  • Strong IT skill including MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)
  • Fluency in English and other languages are an added benefit
  • Team Player, willing to work to tight timelines
  • Positive attitude, patience and persistence
  • Proven track record in managing complex projects, preferably international sports events
  • Experience of working in the region and knowledge of local culture will be an added benefit
