Overview:
The Workforce Planning Senior Manager is responsible to define and implement the corporate HR policies and personnel development and training programmes and ensuring that any staff that is required to be relocated to the Qatar follow a mobilization process (visas, relocation, etc.)
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall responsible for the timely delivery of efficient HR Services to Internal customers.
- Handle escalations for employee / staff issues and grievances relating to performance management, compensation, transfers, process compliance across locations
- Overall responsible for the design and support organisation development and culture building initiatives to create an environment most conductive to achieving business objectives. This shall include driving organisation values and creating a team-working environment.
- Overall responsible for the design initiative for the motivation, reward and retention of the workforce.
- Ensure efficient handling of people management processes across.
Learning and Development:
- Review and monitor the timeliness and effectiveness of the training program.
- Provide inputs to team members for maintaining quality standards based on the customized needs for all learning and development initiatives.
- Oversee design and development of the annual training calendar for FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup 2025 LOC..
- Overall responsible for selecting key trainers / faculty from institutes for implementing the training calendar.
Office Administration
- Overall responsibility for the management of the Office Administration area.
Qualifications and experience:
- A minimum experience of 6-8 years within a HR / People Management role
- University degree in appropriate subject (or adequate training/vocational education)
- Experience in international sports / event management
- Knowledge of even planning and event project management processes
- Experience or knowledge of local culture will be an added benefit
- Strong IT skill including MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)
- Fluency in English and other languages are an added benefit
- Team Player, willing to work to tight timelines
- Positive attitude, patience and persistence.
- Proven track record in managing complex projects, preferably international sports events.
- Minimum of 4 years managing teams within HR / People Management
