The Philippine Football Federation (PFF) has appointed a new coaching and management staff for PWNFT U17, as follows:
- Head coach: Pradhyum Reddy (Scotland)
- Assistant coach: Surinder Singh (India)
- Assistant coach: James Sasiadek (USA)
- Goalkeeping coach: Ali Uzunhasanoglu (England/Turkey)
- Team manager: Selu Lozano (Philippines)
Reddy is one of Indian football’s most experienced and forward-thinking figures, combining European tactical education with deep involvement in Indian and American football. Born in Scotland, he has served as a coach, technical director, and CEO for clubs like Bengaluru, Delhi Dynamos, and Dempo, while also earning recognition as a television pundit and analyst.
Over two decades, Reddy has championed long-term, structured development focused on youth pathways, scouting, and process-driven team building, emphasizing the need for competitive match experience to nurture local talent. His dual expertise in coaching and media has made him a key voice in advancing both the technical and cultural understanding of football in India—insights he now aims to bring to the Philippine women’s program.
The coaching team brings together extensive international and developmental experience: India’s Harjinder Singh, a highly respected youth coach who produced several national team players and holds an AFC Pro License; James Sasiadek, founder and president of Hawai‘i Soccer Academy, known for building structured player pathways and partnerships that expand youth opportunities; and Turkish coach Ali Uzunhasanoglu, now Peterborough United’s first-team goalkeeping coach, who blends Turkish and English goalkeeping traditions.
Managing them is Selu Lozano, President of Makati Football Club, who champions holistic player development—combining technical skill, character formation, and global exposure—to elevate Filipino youth football to new heights.
PWNFT U17 will aim to re-enter the AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup, to be held in May 2026 in China.
In the 2024 AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup in Indonesia, the Philippines nearly made the semifinals for a possible World Cup qualification, with a 6-1 win against Indonesia and a 1-1 draw against powerhouse South Korea in the group stage.
