The Philippine Football Federation (PFF) proudly announces the official squad of the Philippine Women’s National Futsal Team (Filipina5) for the inaugural FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup, to be held from November 21 to December 7, 2025, at the Philsports Arena in Pasig City.
This historic moment marks the Philippines’ first hosting of a FIFA World Cup, and the second Philippine squad to compete in FIFA’s grandest stage.
The Filipina5 will compete on home soil against the world’s best, aiming to showcase the rapid growth of futsal in the country and inspire a new generation of players.
PFF President John Anthony Gutierrez expressed deep pride in the team and the significance of the event.
“To host the first-ever FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup and to see our very own Filipina5 compete in it is a monumental achievement for Philippine football and futsal,” he said. “This squad represents the heart, grit, and ambition of our futsal program. We believe they will make the country proud.”
Gutierrez also highlighted the federation’s long-term commitment to developing futsal nationwide: “The Futsal Women’s World Cup is a historic moment for Philippine football. The Filipina5 have trained relentlessly, and with the support of our coaches, staff, and partners, we are confident in their readiness.”
