The Philippine Men’s National Team settled for a 1-1 draw against Chinese Taipei in their FIFA International Friendly Match last Friday, 08 September 2023 at the Kaohsiung National Stadium in Kaoshiung, Chinese Taipei.
Coming off a 2-3 loss to the same opponent in Manila last June, the PMNT look to bounce back and get a result against their opponents.
Patrick Reichelt put the Philippines ahead in the 18th minute as he struck from close range off an assist from Manny Ott.
The Philippines looked to add a second but spurned on their chances allowing Chinese Taipei to draw level in second half stoppage time.
Following the match, the PMNT will face Afghanistan in another friendly match at home on Tuesday, 12 September 2023 at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.
