Two goals from Jennizel Cabalan kept OutKast FC’s perfect record in the PFF Women’s League intact last Saturday 8 September 2018 at the PFF National Training Center.
The OutKast forward found her scoring touch in the second half after Alesa Dolino and Barbie Sobredo opened the scoring in the first half.
OutKast kept their composure throughout the match. Dolino gave OutKast the lead in the 9th minute before Abigail Corvera delivered a delightful equalizer for UP in the 41st minute.
Sobredo restored OutKast’s advantage heading to the half with a sublime finish.
The 2-1 lead did not waver OutKast’s resolve as Cabalan found the back of the net in the 58th and 65th minutes to extend their lead at the top.
In the opening match, De La Salle Zobel arrested their two game losing streak with a resounding 2-1 win over Green Archers United FC. Marinelle Cristobal was a revelation to DLSZ with two goals in the 19th and 51st minutes. Nicole Andaya scored the consolation goal for the Archers, who have lost their last two matches.
