The Philippine Football Federation (PFF) announces the national tryouts for the Philippine Women’s Futsal National Team, inviting PFF member regional football associations (RFA) to select and send two of their most outstanding female futsal athletes.
With the Philippines set to host the inaugural FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup later this year, the federation aims to build a unified, competitive team that is composed of top futsal talents that will represent the country in this prestigious event.
Recognizing the strong foundation of women’s futsal in the Philippines, built through national tournaments such as Palarong Pambansa, Batang Pinoy Games, and SCUAA, the PFF encourages young women to showcase their skills and passion for the sport. The tryouts will be conducted across multiple regions to ensure wide participation:
Tryout Schedule:
• February 15-16, 2025 – Cebu
• February 17-18, 2025 – Dipolog
• February 19-20, 2025 – Davao
• February 22-23, 2025 – NCR
• February 24-28, 2025 – TBA (Foreign and Local ID Camp)
Athletes must be at least 16 years old, or born on or before January 1, 2009, to be eligible for selection. Each Regional Football Association (RFA) may nominate up to two (2) players to participate in the tryouts.
Interested athletes must coordinate with their respective RFAs, and nominations must be submitted by February 10, 2025, via the official Confirmation Form.
