PH U19 MNT vie for the ASEAN U19 Boys Championship 2024

The Philippine Football Federation (PFF) is sending 24 players to compete in the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) U19 Championship 2024 to be held from July 17-29 in Surabaya, Indonesia. PFF Technical Director Josep Maria Ybarz Ferre is the team’s head coach, while Randolfo Paolo “Popoy” N. Clariño is the assistant coach.

“We wish our PH U19 MNT the best of luck at the AFF U19 Boys Championship. We thank the coaches, the staff, the players and the players’ parents for their willingness to embark on this important journey,” said PFF President John Gutierrez. “I have strong faith in this team composed of talents from the federation’s regional football associations, the UAAP, NCAA, as well as foreign-based players; they are all passionate about playing for the flag. For months, they have been getting ready for the AFF U19 Championship.”

The squad is composed of Filipino athletes from Cebu, Manila, USA, Germany, Turkey, Australia, Canada and Spain. They are:

The U19 PMNT’s first match will be against host Indonesia on July 17, 2024.
