Overview:
The job holder will manage Protocol & Government Relations department at FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup 2025 LOC by representing the interests of FFWWC 2025 LOC at various Philippines embassies for matters related but not limited to securing Work Visa/Permits for employees and arranging foreign travels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all activities of Protocol & Government Relations Section
- Ensure all activities with Protocol & Government Relations Section are conducted as per Service Level Agreements
- Manage all important external stakeholder relationships including Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Labour etc.
- Manage the process of securing Work Visas / travel visas to foreign countries
- Manage the process of securing Visit/Business Visas for visitors Advise HR Director on any change of regulations put in place by Government of Qatar in matters affecting the Immigration Section
- Manage the process of medical testing and finger print registering of new overseas employees and their dependants
- Assist senior level FFWWC 2025 LOC staff to get acquainted with laws pertaining to moving their personal belongings
- Monitor and control transactions on credit cards / debit cards issued to Immigration Section
- Issue Exit Permits to eligible FFWWC 2025 LOC employees
- Manage and provide professional support and development to subordinates when performing duties and assign tasks when required, also identify training needs, attend and evaluate training when required
- Responsible to fulfilling the assigned responsibilities:
- to a high standard of quality and timeliness
- in full compliance with theFFWWC 2025 LOC Quality Policy and the Safety and Security rules and requirements
- in line with any standards and objectives designated in the Employee Performance Management system
Qualifications and experience:
- A minimum experience of 5-8 years in large scale international sport events with – at least 4 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- University degree in appropriate subject (or adequate training/vocational education)
- Experience in international sports / event management
- Knowledge of even planning and event project management processes
- Experience or knowledge of local culture will be an added benefit
- Strong IT skill including Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, SmartSheet, Microsoft Teams etc.
- Fluency in English and other languages are an added benefit
- Team Player, willing to work to tight timelines
- Positive attitude, patience and persistence.
- Proven track record in managing complex projects, preferably international sports events.
