Overview:
Responsible for the successful acquisition of talented Workforce members (600+ staff & externals) for the FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup 2025 LOC, according to the approved Workforce staffing planning in an efficient, competent, discreet and service oriented manner.
Be involved in developments & innovations of any HR–core-processes related to recruitment (recruitment software implementation, on – & off-boarding tool, etc.), in order to ensure that these process are also applicable for and are implemented in the FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup 2025 LOC
Act as ‘center of competence’ on any relevant Talent Acquisition developments (actual or future) in the (sport) event industry and act as a true role model in representing the function internally and towards external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the sourcing & recruitment of all Workforce members of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Llc. according to the staffing plan and organizational charts (600+ staff & externals).
- Anticipate internal recruitment needs, clarify the job profiles, find within given budget qualified candidates and advice the management where applicable on the final decision.
- The Department will provide FIFA Workforce Management with all relevant information regarding recruiting activities, new entries, etc. in order for FIFA Workforce Management to process – and provide services accordingly.
- Lead the implementation of all local related recruitment processes within the host-country.
- Coordination job descriptions setting process
- Ensures that there is an updated candidate database and talent-pool.
- Establish consolidated reports on all recruitments matters to allow effective monitoring by top-management and where applicable FIFA Workforce Management.
- Provides training and support to internal users of E-recruitment tool and organise Recruitment workshops to line-managers.
- Organize, coordinate and conduct an outplacement program for temporary Workforce members leaving the organization.
- Define and execute together with FIFA Workforce Management a sourcing and employer branding strategy, including a digital strategy (LinkedIn, FIFA.com, social media, etc.).
Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum experience of 5-8 years in recruitment; preferably with experience in mega (sports) events
- University degree in appropriate subject (or adequate training/vocational education)
- Experience in international sports / event management
- Knowledge of even planning and event project management processes
- Experience or knowledge of local culture will be an added benefit
- Strong IT skill including MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)
- Fluency in English and other languages are an added benefit
- Team Player, willing to work to tight timelines
- Positive attitude, patience and persistence.
- Proven track record in managing complex projects, preferably international sports events.
