KAYA FC ILOILO W
Kaya was the only club from the Philippines Football League (PFL) to take part in the inaugural 2016–17 season of the PFF Women’s League. However, they pulled out during the season.
In 2019 Kaya established a women’s team. This seven-a-side team took part in the first season of the 7’s Football League Women’s Division, ending the season in second place.
Kaya finished off their first eleven-a-side tournament and also made their international debut at the Women’s Football Championship at the SingaCup in Singapore in 2022. They won the tournament unanimously, defeating the Lion City Sailors women’s team, Phranakorn, and Persib Putri.
In 2023 Kaya went back to the PFF Women’s League and that year the tournament included a knockout stage. Kaya made it all the way to the final, where it competed for the title against Manila Digger; the team won the final on one goal alone and thus became the first club side to win the PFF Women’s League, the previous editions having been won by collegiate teams, De La Salle.
Kaya were one of the teams that took part in the first AFC Women’s Champions League in the 2024–25 season. They did not reach the knockout rounds, since they drew their matches against BGC–College of Asian Scholars and Bam Khatoon and had a loss to Melbourne City in the group stage.
