“The PFF is committed to elevating women’s football in the country. We, with the help of the National Capital Region Football Association (NCRFA), are actively working to build a solid foundation that supports female athletes at every level, from grassroots programs in schools to elite national team development,” stated PFF President John Gutierrez. “The PWL 2025 represents a significant step forward, providing a platform for our talented female athletes to showcase their skills and inspire the next generation.”

The PWL 2025 will adopt a double round-robin format, where every team will play each other twice, ensuring a competitive and engaging season for fans. The league’s kickoff is scheduled for March 22, 2025, at the Mall of Asia Football Pitch.

PFF would like to express their gratitude to the NCRFA, who has helped in ensuring that the tournament showcases the best of Philippine women’s football.
