The Tournament Committee of the PFF U19 Boys National Championship convened to decide on the protest lodged by Mount Apo RFA against both Davao-South RFA and South Cotabato Sarangani Gen. Santos City RFA citing Article 6 of the Tournament Regulations regarding Player Eligibility.
As such, all matches wherein both Davao-South RFA and SOCSARGEN RFA fielded their ineligible players were treated as a 3-0 loss against their opponents which eventually led to their relegation into the 2nd Division as reflected in the Group Standings.
Meanwhile, Panay FA, which was the third placed team in Group B, will advance to the Final Round together with Central Visayas FA as the top two teams from the group brought on by the forfeiture of Davao-South’s matches.
Therefore, the matchups for the PFF U19 Boys National Championship – First Division Final Round are as follows:
Semi-final 1: National Capital Region vs. Panay FA
Semi-final 2: Central Visayas FA vs. Stallion FC
The PFF U19 Boys National Championship – First Division shall be played this August 2023 at the Dynamic Herb Sports Complex in Talisay City, Cebu.
