Overview:
The Security Manager has the responsibility for the successful implementation of FIFA’s Security strategic concepts for FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure policy and procedural cohesion within broader or cross-divisional projects
- Advising and assisting Host Country of FIFA’s tournaments and events in developing security concepts and operational plans
- Reviewing and proposing amendments to FIFA’s security regulations at competitions and events
- Assisting in developing operational plans and procedures for inspections and security plan assessment
- Ensure policy and procedural cohesion within broader or cross-divisional projects
- Assisting in developing specific plans and procedures for inspections and security plan assessment
- Contribute to further developing the FIFA Security Officers’ panel and to coordinate their assignments, training and supervision at tournaments
- Planning and coordinating workshops and conferences, including developing agenda and reference materials
- Preparation of documentation and presentations for FIFA Executive Committee when necessary

- Prepare presentations and, if required, conduct lectures/seminars
- By delegation : review and elaboration of budgets
Qualifications and experience:
- A minimum experience of 5-8 years in large scale international sport events with – at least 4 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- University degree in appropriate subject (or adequate training/vocational education)
- Experience in international sports / event management
- Knowledge of even planning and event project management processes
- Experience or knowledge of local culture will be an added benefit
- Strong IT skill including Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, SmartSheet, Microsoft Teams etc.
- Fluency in English and other languages are an added benefit
- Team Player, willing to work to tight timelines
- Positive attitude, patience and persistence.
- Proven track record in managing complex projects, preferably international sports events.
