The Philippine Boys Under-15 team finished in fifth place in the AFF Under-15 Championship after a scoreless draw against Brunei last Tuesday 18 July 2017 at the IPE Chonburi Campus Stadium 2.
It was a brave effort for the team led by head coach Chieffy Caligdong as the Under-15 team finished Group B with four points with one win, one draw and three losses. The lone Philippine win was a 2-0 victory over Timor Leste last Sunday 16 July.
“It was a good test for our Boys Under-15 team against the best teams in the region,” said PFF general secretary Atty. Edwin Gastanes. “The boys will count this tournament to their experience as they continue their playing career.”
