PFF Conducts FIFA Women’s Coaching Course 2017

The Philippine Football Federation hosted a FIFA Women’s Coaching Course for 2017 from 28 August until 1 September 2017 in Manila.

23 participants attended the course. Practical sessions were held at McKinley Hill Stadium in Taguig City while the theory sessions were held at PFF House of Football Board.

FIFA consultant and Spanish coach Ms. Patricia González conducted the course and was assisted by Ms. Letecia Bautista and Ms. Joyce Landagan.

Speaking after the course, González saw a promising group of coaches who are eager to learn more about the sport.

“I found a group of very passionate people which is a driving force moving forward,” said González. “I think having a diverse background from the participants, there will be a big impact in promoting women’s football.”

PFF General Secretary Atty. Edwin Gastanes hailed completion of the course.

“We are delighted that coach Patricia González has imparted to our female coaches her technique and wisdom through this FIFA Women’s Coaching Course,” said Gastanes. “We hope that the development of Women’s football continue to improve.”
