The Philippine Women’s National Team yielded their first match of the AFF Women’s Championship 2018 to Myanmar, 0-4, last Sunday at the Gelora Sriwijaya Stadium.
Myanmar scored in the 2nd, 23rd, 49th, and 59th minutes to open Group B.
Charisa Lemoran and Eva Madarang both had chances to reduce the lead in the 43rd and 63rd minutes, but Myanmar’s defense frustrated the Philippines.
The Philippines team aims to play better when it face Singapore next on Tuesday 3 July 2018 at the same venue.
