A total of 22 AFC ‘C’ licensed coaches, including 5 former national team players and 3 foreign coaches, took part in the recently concluded Asian Football Confederation (AFC) ‘B’ Coaching Certificate Course Part 1 held last 14-23 June 2018 in Metro Manila.
Part 1 of the course provides the coaches the best practices in organizing and conducting basic coaching practices of youth players and teams. Part 2 will be held on 5-14 November 2018.
The AFC course instructor was PFF Technical Director Jose Ariston Caslib.
The Claret School of Quezon City football field and lecture room were the venues for the practical and theory sessions respectively. It was the second time that the institution hosted an AFC Coaching Course after the AFC ‘C’ Coaching Certificate Course was held last May 2018.
“We thank Claret School of Quezon City, through its Administrator, Fr. Santiago Gonzalez, for hosting the AFC ‘B’ Coaching Certificate Course,” said PFF general secretary Atty. Edwin Gastanes. “We hope that the participants gained valuable coaching knowledge as they continue their career as coaches.”
