The Philippine Men’s Under-19 Team went down to Vietnam, 5-0, in their second match of the AFF U19 Championship last Tuesday at the Gelora Delta Stadium.
Vietnam scored in the 29th, 50th, 54th, 71st, and 85th minutes to put the Philippines in 4th place with 3 points.
The Philippines had the chance to take the lead in the 21st minute from the penalty spot, but Gio Pabualan’s effort was denied by the goalkeeper.
The Philippines next face tournament host Indonesia on Thursday 5 July 2018.
