The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has granted the Philippine Football Federation (PFF) request for funding of the installation of floodlights for the PFF National Training Center artificial turf.
Last 17 August 2018, the AFC conducted an ocular inspection of the PFF National Training Center led by the AFC Infrastructure Consultant Mr. Phoon Yoke Heng. The inspection was in preparation of the installation of floodlights that will pave way to the use of the facility during night time.
There will be four light towers that will be installed on each corner of the field. The installation will be held later this year pending the arrival of the grant from AFC.
PFF general secretary Atty. Edwin Gastanes thanked Mr. Phoon for his favorable assessment of the National Training Center.
“We thank Mr. Phoon Yoke Heng for his assessment and the AFC for providing the PFF the financial grant to install the light towers at the PFF National Training Center,” said Gastanes. “The installation of light towers in the training center ensures our national teams and other PFF events will be able to conduct their training sessions during night time.”
