New team Tuloy FC produced an upset win over Ateneo de Manila University Women’s Football Team while De La Salle University Women’s Football Team notched their second win over Hiraya FC in the PFF Women’s League last Saturday 1 September 2018 at the PFF National Training Center in Carmona, Cavite.
Tuloy FC needed a late goal from Isabella Bandoja in the 90th minute to beat Ateneo, 2-1. Jenny Perez gave Tuloy the lead in the 26th minute but was cancelled out by Nicole Bugayong in the 58th minute.
In the second match, Alisha del Campo scored twice (49′ & 70′) en route to a 4-0 win over Hiraya FC. Sara Castañeda netted in the 4th minute followed by a strike from Rocelle Mendaño.
The PFF Women’s League continues this Sunday, 2 September 2018. Far Eastern University Women’s Football Team face OutKast FC in the 8:00 AM match followed by De La Salle Zobel Women’s Football Team vs University of Santo Tomas Women’s Football Team. Both matches will be shown live at pff.org.ph/pff-tv.
