The Philippine Football Federation (PFF) Club Licensing Appeals Body have assessed the appeals lodged by club licensing applicants Mendiola Football Club and Philippine Air Force Football Club.
After evaluation, the Appeals Body remanded the club license application of Mendiola Football Club back to the First Instance Body (FIB) and rejected the appeal of Philippine Air Force Football Club on the ground, among others, that a license applicant should first have a legal entity to apply for a club license.
With the above decisions, Mendiola FC must await the decision of the First Instance Body if they will be granted a license to participate in PFF club competitions for 2019.
On the other hand, Philippine Air Force FC cannot participate in PFF club competitions this year. However, they can apply for a club license for the 2020 competition.
The respective applicants have been notified of the decision.
The league operator and its officials have also been notified and were directed not to include in the league fixtures these two unlicensed clubs.
