The Philippine Women’s National Team’s preparations for the upcoming international competitions have shifted to the next level following their 11-0 win over Macau WNT in an International Friendly Match held at the PFF National Training Center in Carmona, Cavite last Saturday, 3 August 2019.
Forward Quinley Quezada got the things rolling with the opening goal in the sixth minute. Alesa Dolino added a quick second for the Philippines five minutes later.
The Philippines continued their run with a three-goal burst from Quezada (31’), Camille Rodriguez (34’), and substitute Alisha Del Campo (44’) to go to the end of the first half with a 5-0 lead.
Del Campo completed her hat-trick in the 48th and 49th minutes to continue where the Philippines left off at the half. Captain Patrice Impelido slotted the team’s eight goal in the 57th minute followed by a Hali Long spot kick 68th minute.
Mea Bernal (74’) and Del Campo (89’) added further gloss to the win.
The friendly was part of the team’s continuous preparations for the upcoming AFF Women’s Championship 2019 later this month and the 30th Southeast Asian Games this November.
