Laguna FA and National Capital Region FA posted contrasting routs to open the 2019 PFF U15 Boys’ National Championship Round last Monday, 11 November at the PFF National Training Center in Carmona, Cavite.
It was a one-sided goalfest for the opening day winners in the five-team Group 1 in Luzon with fifteen goals to show for.
The team from Laguna routed the team from Cordillera 4-0 with Louis Angelo Junio scoring in each haf for a brace. Wroenz Bicua and substitute Vincent Saludo added a goal each.
In the second match, the team from NCRFA flexed its muscle to defeat the team from Federated FA of Masbate, 11-0 with eight different players on the scoresheet.
Matthias Lozano led the way for NCR with a first-half hat-trick while Scott Mackenzie lead from the bench with a second-half brace as they go top the group with a +11 goal difference.
