Mindoro-Marinduqe-Romblon-Palawan RFA became the fourth team to advance to the PFF U19 Boys National Championship – Second Division National Group Stage after a 6-1 win over RFA of Camarines Norte, last Sunday 19 June 2022 at the Eco Field in Daet, Camarines Norte.
MIMAROPA finished Group D with nine points followed by Central Bicol RFA in second with six points. Albay-Catanduanes FA and REFACAMNOR round up the standings in third and fourth place.
Julliane Diola netted a hat-trick for MIMAROPA, while Titus Bagano, Marlo Tabinga, and Jayvee Baqueran added a goal each. Denzel De Leon gave REFACAMNOR a consolation goal in the second half.
The other Group D match saw Central Bicol RFA edge ALCATFA in an 8-0 beatdown. Angel Amaro scored a hat-trick for Central Bicol, while Michael Bagacina and Roberto Roldan, Jr. both bagged two goals each to finish the group stage in second place.
Second Division continues on Monday 20 June in Group E in Cebu City and Group F in Lanao del Norte.
