The Philippine Under-18 Women’s National Team endured a 4-0 defeat to Australia last Monday, 25 July 2022 at the Jakabaring Athletic Field in Palembang, Indonesia.
Goals from Avaani Prakesh, India Beier, and Maya Lobo sent the Australians to a first win in Group B and at the same time put the Filipinas U18 at a disadvantage with two games left in their group.
Forward Isabella Flanigan found an early breakthrough for the Philippines but she was unable to convert on her chance.
