Former University of Santo Tomas standout Shelah Mae Cadag fired a hat-trick in Kaya FC-Iloilo’s 3-0 win over the University of Santo Tomas last Sunday 13 November 2022.
Cadag found the back of the net in the 12th, 34th, and 60th minutes as UST’s woes continued with a third straight loss of the tournament.
Tuloy FC bounced back from Wednesday’s loss with a 3-2 win over Ateneo de Manila University in Sunday’s second match.
Jenny Perez and Jonalyn Lucban combined for two goals in the 26th and 40th minutes to take a 2-0 lead. However, former youth national standout Joyce Semacio forced a deadlock right before half-time with a brace in the 42nd and 45th minutes.
Perez and Tuloy however, would have the final say as the midfielder fired the winning goal in the 87th minute to hand Ateneo its first loss of the season.
