Forward Dionesa Tolentin exploded with seven goals as Far Eastern University dealt Azzurri FC with an 8-0 thrashing in the PFF Women’s Cup last Saturday, 12 November 2022 at the PFF National Training Center in Carmona, Cavite.
Tolentin found the back of the net in the sixth, 36th, 43rd, 72nd, 77th, 79th, and 84th minutes to lead the goalscoring charts. Marienell Cristobal also contributed in the rout by scoring in the 45th minute for the Lady Tamaraws.
The University of the Philippines also had a night to remember as they collected their third straight win of the tournament after a 4-0 shutout of Stallion Laguna FC in the second game.
Alyanna Yatco (13’), Yoojin Kim (27’), Alyssa Ube (54’), and Alyssa Narido (81’) were on the scoresheet for the unbeaten Lady Maroons.
