The University of the Philippines were forced to settle to a scoreless draw against Tuloy FC in Saturday’s PFF Women’s Cup at the PFF National Training Center in Carmona, Cavite.
Both teams were unable to pounce on a chance in front of goal as the two sides shared the points in the first match.
Kaya, meanwhile, dealt Ateneo de Manila University with a 7-0 hammering in the second match.
Irish Navaja (3’), Shelah Mae Cadag (16’, 72’), Hazel Lustan (19’, 26’), and Sheen Nicole Ramores (64’, 88’) all scored for Kaya in the match which dented Ateneo’s hopes of a knockout stage slot.
Kaya now sit in fourth place with nine points, while Ateneo is in fifth with three points. UP and Tuloy have 10 points each.
