The Philippine Football Federation (PFF) announces that the home matches of the Philippine Men’s National Team for the AFF Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2022 will be played at the historic Rizal Memorial Football Stadium in Manila.
The 12,000 seater stadium will host the Azkals’ home matches against Brunei Darussalam on 23 December 2022 and Indonesia on 02 January 2023.
For their away matches, the Azkals will face Cambodia on 20 December 2022 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and Thailand on 26 December 2022 in Bangkok, Thailand.
PFF officials are thankful for the availability of the historic stadium, which will see the Azkals play at the stadium since its qualification to the AFC Asian Cup 2019 four years ago.
“We are delighted to have the Rizal Memorial Stadium host the Azkals once again as they embark on their campaign in the AFF Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2022,” said PFF president Mariano Araneta, Jr. “We encourage all football fans and stakeholders to support the Men’s National Team and watch the matches live.”
The Rizal Memorial Stadium will also host the semi-final and final matches should the Philippines advance to the knockout stages.

Edwin Gastanes. “We thank the Philippine Sports Commission led by Chairman Noli Eala for their steadfast support in promoting football.”
The Azkals are currently preparing for the competition with a training camp at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.
