Both Stallion FC and Central Visayas FA collected huge wins to kickoff the PFF U19 Boys National Championship 2023 First Division last Wednesday 21 June 2023 at the PFF National Training Center in Carmona, Cavite and Dynamic Herb Sports Complex in Talisay City, Cebu.
Stallion hammered Mindoro Marinduque Romblon Palawan FA, 7-0, in their opening match in Carmona. Men’s national team midfielder Jared Peña, Andrei Gonzales, and substitute Raphael Aljama collected two goals apiece while Shaun Saludez added a goal for Stallion.
National Capital Region FA saw three different goal scorers in Dominic Tom, Daniel Christensen, and Selwyn Mamon to beat Southeast Luzon Masbate RFA, 3-0.
Defending champions Negros Occidental FA had to survive a late fight back from Laguna FA to win, 3-2. Rohderick Rodriguez fired a hat-trick for NOFA, but Laguna’s pair of Vincent Saludo and Vash San Miguel brought the fight to their rivals.
Central Visayas fired five goals past Davao South RFA in their match in Cebu. Gianrenzo Custado, Wendrel Soco, Theo Libarnes, Jon Goc-ong, and John Tabar were on target for the Cebuanos.
Panay FA also won 2-1 over Zamboanga del Norte Dipolog FA, and SOCSARGEN RFA defeated Camiguin Misamis Oriental FA, 2-0.
