In celebration of the 10th AFC Women’s Football Day 2024, the Philippine Football Federation, together with the Asian Football Confederation, aims to keep the momentum in the tremendous growth evidently seen in all aspects of women’s football in Asia.
The Philippine Women’s National Team have taken women’s football to greater heights brought on by their first championship in the AFF Women’s Championship 2022, bronze finish in the 31st Southeast Asian Games, and the Philippines’ debut in the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 where the Filipinas claimed their first win against New Zealand.
For this year, the PFF and the Philippine Women’s National Team, launches the Kaya ko, kaya mo, #KAYAngPINAY campaign to further increase engagement and participation of various stakeholders in the promotion of women’s football.
Select PWNT players shall take part by performing football skills, introducing themselves, and saying the tagline “Kaya ko, kaya mo, #KAYAngPINAY” in their Philippine dialects.
PFF enjoins its Regional Football Associations (RFAs) and Member Clubs to encourage their players, especially female players, to post the same on their respective social channels and to tag the following PFF and PWNT social accounts as well as their their RFA/Club social accounts:
