The Philippine Football Federation, along with the Philippine Women’s National Team management, conducted a local training camp at the Rizal Memorial Stadium last 21-23 March 2024.
The purpose of the training camp is to identify locally-based players that can reinforce the PHI U17 WNT when it competes in the AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup 2024 which will be held in Bali, Indonesia from 6-19 May 2024.
PFF president John Gutierrez, along with PFF Director of Football Vincent Santos, visited the training camp last 23 March 2024 where he also met with PWNT manager Jefferson Cheng as well as U17 WNT head coach Sinisa Cohadzic.
The Philippine U17 Women’s National Team will face hosts Indonesia, DPR Korea, and Korea Republic in Group A. The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage to battle for one of three available spots for the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup.
