March 2015 – The Philippine Football Federation (PFF) recently concluded the 5th Regional Festival of Football (FOF). This is an annual activity supported by the Japan Football Association to help the PFF in selecting players for the National Youth Teams.
1572 kids from PFF’s 33 Provincial Football Associations participated in various age categories: U12 Boys – 612; U14 Boys – 576 and U14 Girls – 384.
The event was hosted in 8 locations: Benguet State University, La Trinidad Benguet, Daet Camarines Norte, Sta. Cruz Laguna, San Carlos City Negros Occidental, Gingoog City Misamis Oriental, Valencia City Bukidnon, Nabunturan Compostela Valley, & Isulan Sultan Kudarat.
The balls used in this year’s the FOF were provided by the Philippine Sports Commission.
