Global FC is set to face Australian club Brisbane Roar after their convincing 2-0 victory over Singapore’s Tampines Rovers last 24 January 2017 at Manila’s Rizal Memorial Stadium.
The goals were scored by Azzawi in the 66th minute of a nifty assist by Misagh Bahadoran inside the box. The second goal was rifled in by Misagh Bahadoran just outside the box in the 71st minute. If all goes well for Global in Australia, the club will be travelling to China to test Shangai Shenhua in the last stage of the preliminary round.
Brisbane Roar is currently at 4th place in the the Hyundai A-League.
