UAAP Rookie of the Year Fidel Tacordon loomed large for the Philippines with two goals in the 20th and 94th minute to hand Reiji Hirata’s team their first 3 points of the tournament.
The Under-19 team hope to continue its run when it plays Vietnam U19 on Tuesday 3 July 2018 at the same venue.
