The Philippine Football Federation and the Azkals Foundation has secured a partnership with sports outfitter Kelme as the official outfitter of the Philippine Men’s National Team and Philippines Men’s Under-22/23 National Teams.
Founded in 1960, Kelme has a vast portfolio of providing sponsorship teams such as the Spanish Olympic Team during the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Real Madrid in 1994-1998, and various La Liga clubs in Spain.
The partnership with PFF and the Azkals Foundation with Kelme will see the Spanish outfitter provide match and training kits to the Men’s and Under-22/23 national teams until 2022. The Azkals will wear the Kelme match kits beginning with the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 / AFC Asian Cup China 2023 Preliminary Joint Qualification Round 2 match against China PR last Monday 07 June 2021.
PFF and Azkals Foundation officials hailed the two-year partnership with Kelme, which will also release merchandise, particularly jerseys, to the fans.
“We are happy to announce that we have secured a two year partnership with Spanish sports outfitter Kelme,” said PFF president Mariano Araneta, Jr. “It is an opportune time for the Men’s team to have an official outfitter as it competes in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers and other upcoming competitions.”
KELME CEO Clinton Ke said, “Through this partnership, KELME will share its 60 years of Spanish branding heritage and our premium equipments with the National Teams, as our common interest. We hope the both sides together could make sporting contributions for the mankind.
