FIFA announced that it has launched an invitation to tender (ITT) for the sale of media rights to the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™ in selected territories across Asia beginning Thursday, 28 April 2022.
The sale of media rights is available in the following territories namely the Philippines, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Singapore, Korea Republic, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Timor-Leste and Vietnam.
The Philippines, by virtue of a historic semi-final finish in the AFC Women’s Asian Cup India 2022, will compete in their first-ever FIFA Women’s World Cup campaign to be held in Australia and New Zealand from 20 July until 20 August 2023.
