The Philippines learned its group for the two AFC women’s age-group competitions to be held next year.
In the AFC U20 Women’s Asian Cup Qualifiers Round 1 draw, the Philippines will face China PR, Laos, and Hong Kong in Group A. The matches will be played in Vientiane, Laos from 04-13 March 2022.
The Philippines U20 Women’s National Team last competed in the then AFC U19 Women’s Championship qualifiers held in Manila in 2012.
Meanwhile, in the AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup Qualifiers Round 1 draw, the Philippines were drawn against Lebanon and Guam in Group G with their matches to be played from 22-30 April 2022 in Guam.
In their previous outing the Philippines U17 Women’s National Team made it to the second round of the qualifiers last February 2019 and missed out on a spot in the final round.
