The University of the Philippines continued its fine form in the PFF Women’s League after a comprehensive 4-0 win over the University of Santo Tomas last Wednesday 09 November 2022 at the PFF National Training Center in Carmona, Cavite.
The Lady Maroons had four different goalscorers in the win with Kamea Mangrobang (7’), Aurea Reaso (44’), Denielle Napiza (77’), and Alyssa Ube (82’) all finding the back of the net to compound UST to their second straight loss of the season.
Meanwhile, Kaya FC-Iloilo bounced back from their opening day loss with a 3-1 win over Tuloy FC in the evening match.
Shelah Mae Cadag netted two goals in the 24th and 40th minutes with Hazel Lustan also scoring in the 35th minute.
Louraine Evangelista scored a consolation goal for Tuloy in the 36th minute.
