The Philippine Men’s National Team were drawn against tough opposition in the FIFA World Cup 26 Qualifiers Round 2 Thursday 27 July 2023 at the AFC House in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The Men’s National Team were grouped against Iraq, Vietnam, and the winner of the play-off tie between Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam.
The top two teams from each group will advance to the third round, with a chance to join the expanded 48-team FIFA World Cup 26 which will be jointly hosted by the United States of America, Canada, and Mexico.
The World Cup Qualifiers will be held from November 2023 until June 2024.
