The much anticipated encounter between De La Salle University and Far Eastern University saw the three-time PFF Women’s League champions salvage a 2-2 draw in their meeting last Saturday 15 July 2023 at the PFF National Training Center in Carmona, Cavite.
La Salle’s Angelica Teves scored the equalizer in the 85th minute to deny FEU the win between the two university sides.
Teves opened her account in the third minute, but FEU scored two quick goals in the 23rd and 24th minutes from Dionesa Tolentin and Marinell Cristobal to take a 2-1 lead at the half.
The second match saw Isabella Bandoja fire four goals as Tuloy FC routed University of Santo Tomas, 6-2.
Bandoja scored in the 32nd, 40th, 54th, and 74th minutes while Arjhane Bolivar (24’) and Lanie Ortillo (44’) adding a goal apiece.
UST would take consolation from Laurejane Piano (18’) and Gleydile Añonuevo (64’).
