The University of Santo Tomas closed out their PFF Women’s League sponsored by Coca-Cola campaign with a morale boosting 5-2 win over Stallion Laguna FC last Saturday at the PFF National Training Center in Carmona, Cavite.
Stephanie Logastua scored two goals in the sixth and 12th minutes while Nicah Asilo (27’), Mecha Ursal (38’), and substitute Samantha Asilo (88’) all found the back of the net for the España side.
Alexandra Fabros (33’) and Alyssa Ube (52’) scored consolation goals for bottom-placed Stallion.
The result saw UST finish in eighth place with seven points, meanwhile Stallion sit at the bottom with one match left in their campaign
Isabella Bandoja netted another hat-trick as Tuloy FC delivered a 7-0 hammering of Azzurri SC in the second match.
The Tuloy forward scored in the fourth, 45th, and 66th minutes while Demely Rollon (47’ and 84’) and Philippine Women’s Under-17 National Team player Louraine Evangelista (49’ and 56’) netted a brace each in the rout.
Tuloy remained in fifth with 15 points, having missed out on a knockout spot, while Azzurri are in ninth with three points.
